ABOUT
Dr. Walton visited the University of Kentucky in the Spring of 2019 and shared the foundational work for her program of research centered on understanding and minimizing occupational and environmental exposures to carcinogens.

She focuses both on reducing pesticide exposure for farmworkers and minimizing occupational exposure to antineoplastic drugs for healthcare workers. Dr. Walton will return to share updates on her program of research since her 2019 visit, as well as policy changes regarding antineoplastic drug exposures.

Dr. Walton facilitates and teaches a course called “Population Health in a Global Society” and will also talk about the process of enhancing climate change content within the course.
